After several years in private orthodontic practice in the Boston area, Dr. Emilie (Troupe) Del Mastro is excited to be returning home to the Twin Cities. She is a native of Northeast Minneapolis and St. Anthony Village and attended St. Anthony Village High School before graduating from Minnehaha Academy. She attended Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, where she received a degree in biology and was a member of the varsity women's basketball team, achieving All-Ivy honors. Dr. Del Mastro earned both her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Del Mastro loves practicing orthodontics and especially cherishes the relationships she is able to form with her patients. Committed to continuing education and maintaining numerous association memberships, Dr. Del Mastro strives to stay current in technique and provide the best possible care to all of her patients. During her orthodontic training program, Dr. Del Mastro conducted research on both orthognathic surgery and esthetic considerations in orthodontic treatment planning. In addition to providing excellent orthodontic treatment in a private practice, she is also passionate about community service, having worked with the Indian Health Services on the Navajo reservation in Arizona. In addition, she has been a supporter of children's charities in Boston promoting autism awareness and therapeutic horse riding programs for children with special needs.

When not practicing orthodontics, Dr. Del Mastro enjoys cooking, interior design, basketball, and most of all, spending quality time with her family. Her husband, Matt, is a practicing endodontist in the Twin Cities area. They live in Maple Grove with their daughter, Daniela, and two cats, Butters and Tobie.
